"Survival Magics"

4.5.2019 - 5.20.2019

Annelise Duque is a Filipino-American artist who explores cultural identity, heritage, and belonging in her photographs. Her work borrows from the aesthetics of mid-century home magazines and uses the symbol of the garden to seek for connection and healing.

James Talbot lives and works in Utah and is always thinking about mythologies and also about places where mythologies happen. Talbot’s work hopes to one day find the point where the stories of people meet the stories of their places; he loves the desert, but also is terrified of it.
